This year’s event was headed up by Millikin senior Magon Hallowell, an intern for Macon County&#039;s Big Brothers Big Sisters. To raise money for Big Brother Big Sisters students from different organizations asked for pledges to go toward their bowling scores. Alpha Chi Omega had five teams, Alpha Tau Omega had three teams, WJMU had two teams, Kirkland had two teams and Alpha Phi Omega had one team. Though you may be alarmed, I feel as if a little knowledge will light the way. According to reuters.com, a squirrel in Passau, Germany went on a violent spree of hate. The disgruntled squirrel apparently attacked a 70 year old woman at her home. The violence, however, did not end there. Shortly after the woman shook off the animal, it attacked a construction worker and finally met its end at the hand of an old man and his crutch. Though the attack seems to be completely unprovoked, I believe otherwise. Even though the women outnumbered the men, there was equal discussion from both men and women. Dean Womack wanted both male and female students to tell him their thoughts on what makes someone a gentleman. “The whole definition of gentleman is lost," Womack said. However, the stage lights continued to burn as the musicians and singers, one behind the other, filed onto the stage. With microphones in hand, the singers took their positions and prepared to awe the audience with their sweet vocal sounds. As the pianist struck the first chord, a hush filled the house and the audience turned their ears to the direction of stage. During the meeting, the council heard proposals from the candidates and voting was held immediately after.
