Is it possible we haven’t seen the last of Al Gore, the failed Democratic Party nominee in 2000? Time Magazine contributor Joe Klein thinks so.

I don’t know. I’ve heard the same thing in other places, and I’m skeptical. For one thing, the Democrats will look really, really bad if they decide to throw out the two candidates that have been fighting tooth and nail for months over this nomination in favor of…Al Gore? I don’t think people will take Gore - or the party, if they nominate him - seriously in such a scenario.
But I could be wrong.
